How it works

The YouTube Data API returns full details for public and unlisted videos. Private and deleted videos return no data at all, so the tool can tell they're unavailable but not which of the two it is. That's by design: private videos are only visible to people the owner has invited.

Can this tool show me a private video?

No. Private videos can only be watched by the owner and people they invite. No legitimate tool can bypass that.

What's the difference between unlisted and private?

Unlisted videos can be watched by anyone with the link but don't appear in search. Private videos need an invitation.
