How it works

The description comes from the official YouTube Data API. Links, hashtags, timestamps and email addresses are extracted in your browser with pattern matching.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see an email the creator says is in their About page?

Business emails on channel About pages are protected and aren't available through the API. Only emails written in the video description appear here.

Is there a description length limit?

Yes, YouTube descriptions can be up to 5,000 characters.
