Paste a @handle, a channel link, an old /user/ or /c/ link, or even a link to one of the channel's videos, and the tool returns the ID along with the channel's name and avatar so you can confirm it's the right one.
How to use the channel id finder
- 1Paste a channel URL, @handle or a video link from the channel.
- 2Press Find channel ID.
- 3Copy the ID, the permanent channel URL or the RSS feed URL.
Examples
- Handle:
@YouTubeCreators - Handle URL:
https://www.youtube.com/@YouTubeCreators - Video link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID
How it works
If you paste a link that already contains a UC… ID, it's extracted instantly. Handles, legacy usernames and video links are looked up through the official YouTube Data API (channels and videos endpoints).
Old /c/ custom URLs have no direct API lookup, so the tool tries them as a handle first and falls back to a channel search.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I find my own channel ID?
In YouTube, go to Settings → Advanced settings. Or paste your @handle here.
Does the channel ID change if I change my handle?
No. The UC… channel ID is permanent for the life of the channel.
What is the RSS feed URL for?
YouTube publishes an RSS feed of each channel's latest uploads at youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=… which you can add to a feed reader or automation tool.
